Takeover is a dungeon crawler rogue-like action RPG where you play as a sprite attempting to purify its corrupted forest by taking over enemies for unique buffs.

Throughout the five different levels players will swap bodies with the very enemies that they are fighting in order to gain their precious buffs while weighing their options for different gains.

Since players can change weapons only at the beginning of a stage and can change weapons at any time, they will feel that their attacks are the only thing staying constant, while they hop from body to body. This gives a unique feeling to the game that enhances the feeling that you are not the actual character, but only a weapon controlling it.
